Patina Studio
2023

In 2021, Zsuzsi Gulyás opened the peach-coloured doors of Patina — a space that quickly became much more than a showroom. Functioning simultaneously as a warehouse, creative workspace and gathering point, Patina evolved into a vibrant hub for special photo shoots, collaborations and intimate community events. Since then, the brand has grown so organically and successfully that it has expanded into a full creative studio, reflecting Zsuzsi’s ever-evolving creative universe.

When developing the visual identity, the goal was to create a logo that could capture the eclectic yet refined character of the brand — one that feels equally at home on the large storefront windows of Katona József Street as on the delicately embossed surface of a business card. The typography balances elegance with playfulness, echoing the curated world of objects, textures and colours that define Patina’s atmosphere.

I wanted the identity to reflect Zsuzsi’s distinctive creative vision and the effortless way she moves between disciplines: from food styling and interior design to sourcing unique vintage objects and creating unexpected film props. The result is a flexible and expressive brand system that mirrors the layered, inspiring and slightly nostalgic worlad of Patina — a brand that has since naturally grown into Patina Studio.
